CruiserDesk was designed from day one with CJIS security in mind. Narratives, names and everything an officer types stay on that computer, encrypted. Only blank forms, licenses and a bare-bones audit trail go through our secure portal.
Encrypted on the computer
Unfinished packets and saved answers are encrypted for that Windows user. Unfinished packets are deleted when the PDF is made, and finished PDFs are deleted from the computer after 7 days by default.
A portal that never sees the case
Your admin publishes forms and the officer list through our portal, and every cruiser checks the signature before using them. The audit trail sent back carries only the case number and the defendant's initials. Never narratives or typed answers.
Your policies stay in charge
Because case details stay on agency computers, your existing device security, encryption, and access controls apply. Everything to and from the portal travels over HTTPS.
