These terms cover use of the software made by CopBuilt LLC ("CopBuilt", "we", "us"), an Indiana company: Duty Line HQ and CruiserDesk, and this website. A department's written agreement with us, if it has one, controls where it differs from these terms.
Duty Line HQ SMS Terms
- Program: Duty Line HQ duty-line messages. These are department call-outs and team activations that staff answer by tapping a link or replying (for example RESPONDING, NO RESPONSE, 1 or 2). They also include texts forwarded from the unit's duty line, missed-call alerts, on-call schedule warnings, and login codes.
- Who receives them: department staff and team members who agreed to receive them when their department's administrator added their cell number.
- Frequency: message frequency varies with calls, texts and incidents.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time. You will get one message confirming you are opted out and no more after that. Reply START to opt back in.
- Help: reply HELP, email [email protected], or call (317) 716-5073.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Use of Duty Line HQ
Duty Line HQ is a tool to help a department reach its staff. It is not a replacement for 911 or a department's dispatch. The department is responsible for who it adds, for getting each person's agreement before adding their cell number, and for keeping its schedule current.
Use of CruiserDesk
CruiserDesk fills in forms from what the officer enters. The officer and agency are responsible for reviewing every packet before it is submitted, and for the security of the computers it runs on.
This website
The information on this website is general information about our products. Features marked "in development" or "planned" may change before release.
Limits
Our software is provided as is, to the extent the law allows. CopBuilt is not liable for missed or delayed calls or texts, or for indirect or consequential damages, except where the law does not allow that limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
